A woman battles the sea and the local council in order to save her independence in her clifftop house. As the sea erodes her foundations a well-meaning but inept council worker tries to secure her safe accommodation. All she sees is a lost boy kowtowing to bureaucracy and the norm, all he sees is a stubborn woman dealing with grief and loneliness. They’re of course, both wrong.
